Abstract

Green roofs have a positive impact from the point of view not only of ecology and environmental protection in an urbanized urban environment, but also in architectural, construction, economic and recreational. The Sustainable drainage (SuDS) approach is involved – a sustainable surface runoff management system. The object under study is the roof of a multi-storey residential building in the city of Yoshkar-Ola. Due to the flooding of the territory, based on the fact that 30-40% of storm runoff falls on roofs, an extensive type roof landscaping project is proposed with the addition of rain gardens and permeable coverings in order to regulate rainwater runoff. A master plan, an arboretum plan have been developed, plants, small architectural forms, lighting have been selected. In addition, the article clearly presents the viewpoints.

KEYWORDS: water-green infrastructure roof greening, ecology, extensive, exploited roof, permeable coatings, storm drainage, secondary use.
