Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of environmental management of sports infrastructure and the analysis of waste management systems on sports grounds. The paper examines modern approaches to the organization of environmental management of sports facilities, analyzes the sources of waste generation during mass sporting events, and examines international and Russian experience in implementing separate waste collection systems. The methodological basis of the research is the methods of system analysis, comparative analysis and analysis of the regulatory framework. The results of the study show that the introduction of an integrated environmental management system can significantly reduce the anthropogenic impact on the environment, increase the efficiency of sports facilities and create an ecological culture for visitors to sporting events.
