Abstract
The power invariant is a fundamental basis of LT-theory, as well as the theory and practice of modern medicine. However, it has certain specific features associated with the object of application — the living organism. Among these are: power ensures the quality of human life, depends on the level of health and the severity of diseases, and can be accumulated in the mitochondria of cells, providing both the cells and the entire organism with the necessary energy, thus uniting its passive potential with active kinetic energy. Power and its derivative energy are not a resource for competitive struggle but a necessary condition for maintaining dynamic equilibrium, which is an attribute of a living organism. It is shown that other characteristics of LT-theory should also be studied to find their application in modern medical theory and practice.
