Abstract

The main goal of this scientific and practical research was the analysis of the “green economy” concept implementation as the new vector of sustainable development in Russia for ecological security and nature protection strengthening. The problems of nature conservation and socio-ecological business responsibility have to be solved at all levels (from local to global), what could be testified by the Fund of Sustainable Development experience and results of projects’ implementation in different regions of Russia. In accordance with elaborated indicators the assessment of human impact influence on environment and people well-being improvement was done for the Baikal region which could be considered as a one of world significance and many-sided nature value.
