Abstract

The natural development of human society and the special significance of self-organisation in the process of society evolution are noted. The concept of protocivilisation is introduced. Two global protocivilisations are singled out: the Protocivilisation of Independence and the Protocivilisation of Coercion, between which there is a constant contradiction. Five laws of development of historical society discovered by N.D. Danilevsky and used to classify civilisations are noted. The typology of civilisations proposed by different authors is given, as well as our own typology of civilisations. A definition of civilisation is given. In addition to English political economy as the theoretical basis of the Protocivilisation of Coercion, Russian political economy as the theoretical basis of the Protocivilisation of Independence is mentioned. Three sources and three components are necessary for cognition of the Protocivilisation of Independence: Russian Political Economy, German Classical Philosophy and Russian Popular Socialism. The dynamics of mankind’s development from individualism to collectivism, sobornost and self-government is noted. Formational approach to the analysis of economic development of states and mankind is considered. The prospect of a comprehensive approach to economic analysis based on the combination of formation and civilisation approaches is determined. It is noted that the political economy of the Cosmonosphere will be based on the Russian political economy and will be its creative development in the course of resolving the contradiction between the Protocivilisation of Independence and the Protocivilisation of Coercion.
