The article explains the methodical usefulness of implementing the research of teachers into the educational process in order to develop students’ creative thinking and civic education. The technique involves students writing abstracts to scientific articles by teachers of «Kotelniki» subsidiary of “Dubna” University. An example of using this technique in the study of philosophy is offered.
